Best burger I have had in a very long time

I loved the curb for decades, especially the days the waitresses deliver your window food tray on roller skates.

The owner was very helpful, nice and friendly. Wish the staff would take notice. I'm only giving 3 stars since 4 employees walked past us and not one of them asked if we were being helped. As far as the owner, he gets 10 stars if that was possible.

I have been meaning to stop hear for some time. Only regretting it wasn't sooner. We shared chili cheese fries. One order is enough for two. I had the philly, which is as good as it looks. A bit on the messy side, but not too much. The service was excellent.

Awful burgers, I guess positive reviews like RUBBER burgers. Very outdated locale and typical oldie diner, which is okay but, ugh, NOT the food. I'll go for awesome cars, but NOT to dine!

Food, service, atmosphere were to notch. I like that the waitress was genuine and down to earth. I'll for sure be visiting this place regularly from now on. (It took 47 yrs to get here, but now I'm a new regular.

Love the atmosphere... 50's n 60's complete with juke box at booth. Food was good and price was reasonable... Not support different than other diners but this comes with a side of nostalgia. My 5 year old grandson who usually doesn't sit still in restaurants was entertained with juke box and all the paraphernalia hanging on walls and ceilings and everywhere. Recommend this place for sure.

The place is so cute and the service was fast. My only concern was a black thing in my corndog. I'm uncertain as to what it was. Other than that, very friendly staff and adorable decor. They have the shoestring fries btw

So we arrived and pulled in the parking lot and we had some great side service. They bring you a menu and serve you outside. Kind of a 1920s feel. Great service and staff is friendly.

Never had a bad burger here. Had one or two phenomenal burgers and a couple really good ones.... but never the "rubber burger" others claim to have had. Never had too greasy of a burger. The grease content is up to code for sure. Way too many Karens and Kyles doing reviews because they are socially awkward. Great food... cool cars on good weather nights... neat stuff to look at on the walls. What's not to love?? I give it 5 burnouts.

Definitely worth checking out. Coming from Chicago I was in desperate search of a greasy burger, extra points for a gyro burger, I dound just that at this place. The burger was delicious and the fries pretty tasty as well. Can't wait to stop in again.The atmosphere is nostalgic with all the classic car memorabilia. Pretty neat spot overall.

Great burgers and good atmosphere. The coco puffs shake isn't what I thought it was going to be, still pretty good.

It was a quick trip but we got a strawberry red cream soda float and it was so sweet, creamy and fruity at the same time. It was delicious and it's been the first time I was there. I will be going back for other delicacies they serve.

My personal favorite place in the entire county. They really sick to the fifties/sixties feel with a car hop dive. Yes, it is also a sit down restaurant. I highly recommend this place if ever passing through northwest Indiana.

Cool little place.... Friendly people, nostalgic atmosphere, great tasting burgers.... the dark raspberry shake was yummy the fresh raspberries made it!

I ordered a Maxwell Polish it was HORRIBLE! The hostess was friendly helped me with my order 1st. timer.The Polish had been scored so all the juices had ran out. It looked as if it had been laying on the grill 4 a few hours, the tips, were inedible. Then came the Mountain of onions I couldn't find the Polish because of them. Then came the Coupe de gras it was served on the Italian beef bread. Everybody knows that that is one of the driest breads around especially if you don't have juice. DID I mention that they scored the Polish were all the juices ran out. Tell how am I supposed to digest that hard bread? This place will not get a repeat from me!

Not quite classic car hop service. Stand out architecture. A wide variety of fountain drinks/ice cream creations. Quality burgers. Okay fries.The downside: not a lot of concessions to "modern sensibilities" Few vegetarian options. No gluten free buns. Entirely too much Beach Boys music.The upside: good food. Super Accessible from the highway. Varied menu for hamburgers/hot dog joint. Friday night cruise nights. It feels like a burger joint from the 50's in all the right ways. And all the Beach Boys music you care to hear.

When I pulled up no one came out to take my order. I had to go inside. When I went inside employees were buzzy sitting and talking, guess that's why they didn't come out to take my order. Cleanness needs improvement and need repairs done. Price are bit high. Most hamburgers start at least 6.00 and goes up, that doesn't include fries they are extra. Service was bare minimum.

Great little place to visit. The food is great and portions are plentiful. The owner and waitresses are friendly outgoing. They don't know a stranger.I would go everyday if I lived in town but alas I only get to visit once a year.And every year I will make sure to visit.

This is a great local place to get a good meal and have fun. Lots of car and racing memorabilia inside. When the weather's nice there are always old cars and muscle cars. The food here is delicious and reasonably priced, especially for the amount you get. Everyone should come here at least once.

Never been here before AND never will again. Prices were eh. We ordered "Chicago's Best" double cheese burger called the Big Ben...it was so greasy it literally had a puddle of grease in the corner of the container. The Western burger had WAY too much BBQ sauce and drowned my bun in bbq sauce. Like I was drinking a bottle of it.Then I went to talk to the manager and the owner dismissed me as if there was nothing wrong. I wasn't even trying to get nothing for free but I just spent $22 for a puddle of grease and a bottle of bbq sauce!!! I would give this place a NEGATIVE STAR if I could!

I stopped by one Saturday morning a while back and ordered the hot dog special. As I've said before you gotta try hard to eff up a Vienna dog. The food was good, the service wasn't. I sat at the counter eating my food when a waitress slightly older than 12 politely walked up to me and said "don't you want to leave"? I just looked at her and finished eating. Needless to say I won't be back. What is the owner saying to employees, that they feel comfortable doing this?

Pop tasted like Alka seltzer we ordered 2 siera mists told them tasted bad but still charged us for 1 but food looked good from what I seen

One of the best burger drive ins around, quick and nice service and they have Green River!

This place is so cute! I've lived in the area 15 years and this was my first time coming to blue top. I ate inside. The food was amazing. Good portions.

Small but charming, with great food for a reasonable price. The Chicago's Best burger is well worth a try. The car heritage kicks it to the next level, with cruise-ins friday-sunday through the summer. The parking lot can get tight when busy and be careful of the three deep parking as you could get boxed in.

Take me back to the past...this place is an old school car hop establishment with great food and car shows. The staff is friendly and there are always festivities happening. We will be back. Highly recommended.

This is a great local "car themed" diner-style restaurant to go to. The food is great, the prices are very reasonable, and the service is exceptional. My family has been coming here for years and we always have good experiences. Highly recommended.

They need to make fresh beef burgers and not frozen!
